• The better question is what amenities does Ocean Lakes not have! Once your travel day is over and you have made it to your vacation rental Ocean Lakes has everything you will need!

How old do I have to be to rent a home? 

• To rent a home through Beach Direct Properties and Management you must be 25 years old and have a valid drivers license. The person that books the home is the responsible party for all guests staying in the home. This person is also responsible for being on the property for the duration of the rental. 

How do I book a home? 

• To book a home you will see the available dates on our website for all of our rental homes. You can then complete your booking right from the website! If you have questions or would like help with your booking please give us a call and we would be happy to help you! 

How do I pay for my rental? 

• All reservations must be made through our website. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to arrival. Any reservation made within 30 days or less of the arrival is payable in full at the time of booking. Payments are processed via credit or debit card, and confirmation emails are sent for each transaction. A $500 security deposit hold will be placed on your card 2–3 days before arrival and will be released within 2–3 days after departure, following a property inspection.

Do you allow pets? 

• Some of our homes are pet friendly. If you wish to bring your pet to your Ocean Lakes vacation home, the pet friendly homes will be labeled! There are size and breed restrictions that you will see per home. There is also a non-refundable pet fee of $150 for all homes. 

Are linens provided? 

• Yes, linens are provided in all homes. 
• Each rental home will have complete sheet sets for all beds, two bath towels per guest, wash cloths, and kitchen dish towels. 

What time is check-in and check-out? 

• Check-in is 4 p.m. and check-out is 10 a.m. Please ensure that you are checked out of the home on time so you will not lose your security deposit. 

What is provided for me as a quest at the rental home?  

• Kitchen necessities for cooking. 
• Wifi 
• Linens 
• One roll of paper towels in the kitchen as well as one roll of toilet paper per bathroom to get you started! 

What are my responsibilities as a renter? 

• Treat the rental home with respect as it was your own. 
• No smoking 
• Empty all trash in proper bins. You will find trash days for your rental home located inside the home upon arrival. 
• Follow all rules set by Beach Direct Properties and Management as well as the rules set by Ocean Lakes Family Campground. If these rules are broken and not followed then you may be ask to vacate the property and be escorted out of Ocean Lakes. If this does happen then you are responsible for any fees incurred and will not be refunded the money for the duration of your stay as well as your security deposit. 

 What do I do if something brakes or needs repaired during my stay? 

• If anything goes wrong while you are on vacation in one of our homes we are always available. Please give us a call and inform us of the situation, and we will get it fixed! We are local so we are here to help! 
• Please be aware that a refund will not be given if there is failure of systems during your stay. There will also be no refund given if you purchase something for the home if an issue does arise. 

• If your Ocean Lakes rental includes a complimentary golf cart, please keep it clean and fully charged during your stay. Be sure to follow all Ocean Lakes rules, as violations may lead to eviction, forfeiture of the remaining stay, and loss of your security deposit. 
• You will have access in your renters portal to videos of where and how to properly charge your golf cart during your stay! 
• If you plan to bring your own golf cart, it must be registered with Ocean Lakes Golf Cars at check-in. Please visit their website in advance to review the required documentation. Please be aware that you will also have to provide proof of insurance to Ocean Lakes. 
• If your home does not come with a golf cart and you do not have one you wish to bring, you can rent one through Ocean Lakes directly. 

Where do we park during our stay? 

• Each home will have parking spots for you.
• During your stay you will be required to keep your hang tags visible in your vehicle as this is how you will enter the property. 
• We advise you to do express check in before your stay. You will be sent an email from Ocean Lakes after your vacation home has been rented. At this time you will provide Ocean Lakes with your vehicle information. This must be completed 2 weeks before your stay. If you complete express check in Ocean Lakes will mail you your hang tag and the cost will be $12 dollars a day. 
• If you do not complete express check in then you will be required to register the day of arrival and your hang tag will cost $15 dollars a day. 
• Upon departure on your last day your hang tag will no longer be valid for reentry. 
• If you do not have enough space at your rental home to park your vehicles, Ocean Lakes does have an over flow lot that you can use. You are still required to purchase and show your hang tag.  
• Motorcycle policy directly from Ocean Lakes website. "Please note that motorcycles can not be driven to your site in the campground under power. Guests are permitted to trailer or tow their motorcycle to their site but are not permitted to start the engine. Some guests prefer to park their motorcycles in the motorcycle area in overflow parking.
  All 3-wheeled vehicles (Can-Am Spyder, Polaris Sling-Shot, etc.) will be handled like motorcycles and will not be permitted to ride into the park. These 3-wheel vehicles will have to park at the south gate lot, and an orange wristband will be issued (no car pass needed).
• Please be aware that money collected for parking is not paid to Beach Direct. This money is paid directly to Ocean Lakes. Beach Direct is not responsible for registering your vehicle or retrieving your hang tag.
